These lights can be on for many reasons which is the reason you need to know your fault codes. In this case, I had 2 fault codes in the DSC
1) 5DF0 Hydraulic unit: pump motor
2) 5DF1 Hydraulic unit: pump motor connector faulty
The good news is, I'll tell you what's most likely wrong with your car. The bad news is, it's expensive!
Good news: The hydraulic control assembly is faulty and needs replaced. The part number in this case is 34516778490 and the bad news: it will cost around $2,200 from the Dealer. Then you'll need to pay someone to perform the repair. If you attempt to replace your self you will need to have it coded to the car.
Other options for a lower cost part include: asking my friend google to see if a used one is available or visiting www.modulemasters.com to check if your pump is eligible for a rebuild.
I hope this helps and good luck!
